Biography
My passion for the work I do is driven by a sincere enthusiasm for the subject matter. I seek to understand and inquire about all perspectives and consider all the ways an exhibit and its messaging could be perceived. This helps create the visual and experiential language that formulates the exhibit’s goals, objectives, and overall personality. An exhibit is not just a work product, it’s an expression of a people, of an institution, and even a trigger for a reaction. Exhibits must be lovingly crafted. With a background in architecture and art history, the art of 3D story telling is in my DNA. I thrive in all aspects of exhibit design from concept creation, development of memorable iconic experiences, hands-on and media interactive ideation, technical drawing, 2D and 3D design, to installation and final lighting. With over 15 years of experience in museums and galleries across the country, I’d love the opportunity to meet and discuss what services I could bring to your institution.
